Not Long Now

Update on remodel.......important dates:
Lots of  shopping and research. Not much decisions on colors. Mostly WHITE!
Last Tuesday we met with the City of Richfield. They gave us money to remodel!
On  Wednesday we went to the Credit Union and they gave us more money!
Thursday we met with the contractor to sign on the dotted line. (His name is Paul too. Awwww)
Next Thursday or Friday the dumpster comes!
The crew starts digging the big hole the day after Memorial Day. Don't plan on sleeping in!!
The week after Memorial Day- (What a great week to have the girls home!) That's the week we start to  demo the kitchen- it all must be down to the studs by the end of the following weekend!

 Ginger checking out samples of floor tiles to see which would look (or in her case- feel) best with her food dishes.

He doesn't look too happy :( Why does he have to take apart the shower in order to remodel the kitchen?

Why on earth do we have to take down the tile in the basement? We are doing a kitchen remodel -Duh. It's because they have to completely replace all the 70 year old pipes that have deteriorated! Dang!

Here is Dad packing dishes. Why is mom doing the ceiling and he is standing on a chair? Hmmm? It's going to be a long summer.......

Too bad Ging- every thing gets packed!!!! (Well, maybe we can wait a little longer. )
